And Well-being

The Performance Nutrition team values its integrated partnership with the College of Health to provide dual x-ray absorptiometry (DXA) services that support student-athlete health and well-being by analyzing body composition and bone mineral density, which work to help inform the Health & High-Performance team's decisions in return-to-play scenarios.

Assistant Athletics Director Performance Nutrition

“Nutrition, hydration, and sleep are the foundations of athletic performance. We work with our student-athletes to build up from these foundations, empowering them to understand nutrient timing and meal composition's impact on performance at the highest level. We are grounded in promoting positive relationships with food and body, cultural preferences, and teaching valuable skillsets that last beyond sport.”
